Andrea Ann Pellegram Wins Chesterton By-Election

Liberal Democrat candidate Andrea Ann Pellegram has been elected to represent Chesterton Ward on Cotswold District Council following the by-election held on 16 January. 

The by-election, triggered by the resignation of the previous district councillor, saw a voter turnout of 35.37%, with residents of Chesterton Ward casting their ballots to elect a new representative. 

The current political composition of Cotswold District Council is as follows: 

21 Liberal Democrat councillors 

9 Conservative councillors 

2 Green Party councillors 

2 Independents 

The Liberal Democrats retain their majority on the council. 

The newly elected Cllr Pellegram will take up their position immediately and work alongside colleagues to represent the interests of Chesterton Ward and the wider Cotswold District.
