We want to capture your views on Somerford Keynes Neighbourhood plan
Somerford Keynes Council has submitted a Neighbourhood Development Plan to Cotswold District Council that covers all of Somerford Keynes Parish. We want to capture the public’s view and are asking residents to feed into our consultation.
The Somerford Keynes Neighbourhood plan has now been published and anyone wishing to comment must do so by 5 pm on 24 January 2020. Subsequently, the plan will be examined independently to ensure that it meets the conditions laid out in the Localism Act and other relevant regulations.
You can see the plan online on our website, or review a hard copy Cotswold District Council’s office at Trinity Road, Cirencester (Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm).
The plan sets out a vision for the future of the parish and planning policies which will be used to determine planning applications locally. The plan proposes 16 policies to shape new development in the parish and to provide appropriate protection to the local wildlife, landscape, heritage and green spaces.
Public comments will be taken into account by the independent examiner in determining whether the Plan meets the legal requirements.
All comments must be received by 17:00 on 24 January 2020.
There are a number of ways to make your comments:
- Complete the form available from the website and email it to: neighbourhood.planning@cotswold.gov.uk
- Print the form and post it to: Neighbourhood Planning, Cotswold District Council, Trinity Road, Cirencester, GL7 1PX.
- We will accept other comments in writing (including electronic, such as e-mail, provided that a name and address is supplied. We cannot accept anonymous comments.
