Tudor dance

Corinium’s Tudor Christmas!

Join us at the Corinium Museum for a very special evening where we will dispense, for thy humour, Tudor festivities and Christmas good cheer!

The Tudor extravaganza will take place at the museum on Friday, December 6th, from 6pm to 8pm, where there will be a range of activities for all ages and interests.

Gentles, we shall dance for thee.

Don your best ruff, and tumble to join instructor Julie Bignell who will be teaching Tudor dance! Harken to our tune and grab a partner for a twirl around the dance floor and then pray sit ye down with some mulled wine.

Tudor Dance tickets cost £15 including refreshments.

Tudor Kissing Bough Craft Workshop

Fling your caution to yonder winds with instructor Jo Richardson who will help you craft a unique Tudor kissing ball style wreath. Leave in full good cheer with your hand-crafted holiday decoration. All materials are provided. Refreshments available.

Tudor Kissing Bough Craft Workshop tickets cost £40.

Young Tudors Christmas Evening

While you are dancing or crafting, why not book your children in to the Young Tudors Christmas evening, where we have planned a full night of stories, snacks, games and crafts that, by my troth, they won’t soon forget. The children will leave with their own hand-crafted holiday decoration. All materials are provided.

Children’s Tudor Christmas Evening tickets cost £15.

Children aged 5-13 (children under 8 whose guardians will not be in the building must be accompanied by an adult)

About Corinium Museum

Corinium Museum is located at the heart of Cirencester, the ‘Capital of the Cotswolds’. The principal collection consists of the highly significant finds from the Roman town of Corinium. However, the museum today is much more than that, taking you on a journey through time and charting the development of the Cotswolds from its prehistoric landscape to the modern-day.

Freedom Leisure runs the Corinium Museum facility on behalf of Cotswold District Council.
