Have Your Say on South Cerney’s Future

South Cerney Parish Council has submitted a Neighbourhood Development Plan to Cotswold District Council that will shape the development of the parish.

The plan sets out a vision for the future of the parish and planning policies that will be used by Cotswold District Council to determine planning applications in the locality.

Cllr Clive Webster, Cabinet Member for the Planning Department, Town and Parish Councils, said: “We want to work together with locals to make sure all developments are right for our communities. I'm particularly encouraged by the plan's ambitions that fit with our own, to make the Local Plan ‘green to the core’.

“We invite people and organisations with an interest in the South Cerney area to make representations on this submission draft Neighbourhood Plan.”

The South Cerney Neighbourhood Plan proposes 17 policies to shape new development in the parish and to provide appropriate protection to the local landscape, heritage and green spaces and address local concerns over flooding and climate change.
