Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) - Gloucestershire proposals submitted to government

Gloucestershire’s councils today (28 November) made a joint submission to Government on proposals for the future of local government in the county, accompanied by a letter highlighting the strong collaboration and partnership working between the councils.

The submission follows a series of meetings throughout November, where councillors from all seven councils debated the advantages and challenges of the different proposals for local government reorganisation.
