Notice of Vacancy Announced for The Beeches Ward

Cllr Robbins has decided to retire as a councillor after representing residents on the council for nearly 11 years. 

Councillor Mike Evemy, leader of Cotswold District Council, said: “I would like to thank Nigel for his many years of dedicated service to Cotswold District Council and to the residents in his ward. During his eleven years on the Council, he also served as the Chair of Council and as Chair of the Audit and Governance Committee, the latter for the last four years.  His commitment, experience and contribution to the work of the Council have been greatly valued, and we wish him all the very best for the future.” 

The Notice of Vacancy marks the formal first stage in the process to fill the vacant council seat. Further information about the next steps, including the election process, will be published in due course.
