Tetbury Town Council election update

Two candidates have now been announced for the Tetbury Town Council elections which will take place on Thursday 6 February 2020. 

The Statement of Persons Nominated for Tetbury Town Council has now been published.

There are two candidates: David Andrew Creed and Judith Penelope Taylor. 

A poll will take place on 6 February 2020. Poll cards will be issued in the next couple of days.

Key deadlines for the Tetbury Town Council election are as follows:

  • To register to vote, applications must be received by midnight on Tuesday 21 January
  • To vote by post, applications must be received by 5 pm on Wednesday 22 January
  • To vote by proxy, applications must be received by 5 pm on Wednesday 29 January

The deadline to change an existing postal or proxy vote arrangement is 5 pm on Wednesday 22 January.

All relevant forms are available on the Council’s website www.cotswold.gov.uk or they can be provided in paper form by the Council’s Elections Team. 

Alternatively, electors can register to vote online or download postal/proxy forms from https://www.yourvotematters.co.uk/

If electors have previously registered, they do not need to re-register - but if anyone is in any doubt, they should contact the Elections Team as soon as possible.
