Community Wellbeing Roadshow

The Cotswold Community Wellbeing Team is going on tour!

Our Community Builders, Sue and Kate, are touring around the district on their Community Wellbeing Roadshow – with the aim of supporting and connecting people in the Cotswolds.

The roadshow aims to help people feel more connected to their local communities by encouraging asset-based community development and supporting residents in setting up activities they can enjoy and run together. The roadshow will support those who feel passionate about enhancing their communities to take action to achieve real and lasting change.

If you’re interested in improving your community, come along and speak to Sue and Kate between 10am - 3pm at the following locations:

Tuesday 17th September, Cirencester Market Place

Thursday 19th September, Stow Market Place

Tuesday 1st October, Bourton-on-the-Water Co-op car park

Tuesday 15th October, Tetbury Tesco

Tuesday 12th November, Fairford Community Centre

Tuesday 26th November, Northleach Westwoods Centre

Thursday 28th November, Moreton-in-Marsh Town Centre

Across the various dates, we will be joined by Cirencester Foodbank, The Churn Project, Cotswold Friends, Citizens Advice, Strong & Steady, Gloucestershire Carers Hub, Working 4 Wellbeing and more.

Cllr Claire Bloomer, Cabinet Member for Cost of Living and Inclusion, said, “The roadshow is really important to build connections within communities to bring about people-led action.

“This is an exciting opportunity for residents to speak to our experts about how to make changes within their community. I would really encourage people to come and join us!”
