Cotswold Homes and Interiors Festival 2025-2

Cotswold Homes and Interiors Festival celebrates local creativity and craftsmanship

From upcycling furniture to letting go of clutter: crowds flocked to the Cotswold Homes and Interiors Festival to pick up tips, browse stalls and gain insights into the latest trends in the world of home décor and design.

Renowned interior designer and television personality Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen took to the stage to entertain his audience with tales of his 30-year career as just one of several talks and events during the one-day festival.

Held at Cirencester’s Corn Hall and surrounding town centre on Saturday, the festival also included numerous stalls, exhibitions and workshops showcasing the Cotswold region's rich tradition of design excellence. The event was supported by Cotswold District Council and underscored the Council's commitment to backing local businesses and artisans.

There were more than 80 stalls at the festival and hundreds of people attended the talks, with dozens more taking part in workshops. With more than 40 homes and interiors businesses in and around Cirencester, the town has become a hub for the sector in the Cotswolds.

Paul James, economic development lead at Cotswold District Council, said: "We are thrilled to have brought the Homes and Interiors Festival back to Cirencester for its second year.

“The growing popularity of this event, and the number of businesses in the Cotswolds that service the homes and interiors sector, shows that the district is becoming increasingly well-known as a specialist hub and centre of excellence for home and interior design.

“The council remains dedicated to fostering economic growth and supporting the vibrant creative industries that contribute so significantly to our local economy."

The festival's success reflects the Cotswolds' reputation as a hub for quality craftsmanship and innovative design. The council continues to encourage initiatives that promote local talent and sustain the region's legacy of excellence in homes and interiors.

Cotswold District Council supported the festival through the Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund, underscoring its commitment to supporting the local economy.
